A memorandum of understanding was signed in Rome between the Magna Grecia Foundation and the "Guido Dorso" International Association.  At the center of the agreement is the South and the strategic issues for the cultural, social and economic growth of Southern Italy, for which the two organizations will combine experience and resources to carry out cultural projects and activities.

Commenting on the signing of the protocol, the president of the International Association "Guido Dorso", Nicola Squitieri said:

"The memorandum of understanding signed with the Magna Grecia Foundation fits well into the framework of the cultural and civil commitment carried out over the years by the Dorso Association: teaming up by creating more and more opportunities for greater connectivity between the various protagonists of the cultural debate for a common project of economic and social development in Southern Italy. With the Magna Grecia Foundation in particular, this common endeavour will also be realized in paying dutiful tribute to the figure of Prof. Rocco Caporale, an authoritative protagonist in the battle for the South".

The president of the Magna Grecia Foundation, Nino Foti, reiterated the importance of pooling ideas and resources, recalling how the Foundation has made them a distinctive feature of its activities for almost forty years, promoting both studies and research, as well as national and international meetings and debates in order to stimulate thought and the process of in-depth study and identify common elements between different realities to build projects useful for the growth of the South.
